I bought this kit to keep my hands busy because I'm bored to death at home during this pandemic! I did a latch hook many years ago and thought it would be fun and sort of mindless zen. The kit is very complete and the mesh canvas is well secured. So when you're done with the project, it's completely done, which I thought was great. I made it here on Revain and it will make the kit a lot easier to use. A snap hook that sticks to the yarn for some reason is not very practical for me. It's very easy, so I found the instructions important and very easy to follow. I only got about a third of the way but this is an easy set to use and the colors are very pretty. The butterfly wing isn't cut off as drastically because they went as far as putting tie ribbon around the edge of the circle, which then also holds the final back so it's not as pointy as it looks in the picture. Overall it was a lot of fun and I would say that anyone who knows how to cross stitch should do it using the grid provided and of course a child over 12 should be able to do it. I would not recommend it for small children. The butterfly wing isn't cut as sharply because they went as far as putting a tie around the edge of the circle that also holds the end back so it's not as pointy as it looks in the picture.
