Chopper works great! It produces a coarse grind that is ideal for a French press. My only concern is that the photos here show the opposite of the roughness statement. The instructions say 9-10 is the roughest and 1-2 is mostly powder. So, a day of trying out, officially 9-10 for the gnarliest. It's quite noisy, but that's to be expected. absolutely normal. The one for ground is fine, but watch out for static electricity build-up. You'll need to scrape the bottoms off the sides and lid.
