I bought some high end USB cables and thought they were for micro USB (I didn't read the whole description). Since I liked the cables and hated returning things, I searched around and found these adapters. They are used to convert a Type-C charging cable to a Micro USB charging cable. Almost all commonly found were Micro USB Female to Type-C Male (used to upgrade old charging cables to the new Type-C connector. This was the ONLY thing I could find that used the Type-C C connector converted back to a micro USB connector. usb. They connect firmly and work perfectly!
