A family member bought them for me a few years ago and I love them. I always have mascara on my eyelids when applying, so I decided to look for them again. They do exactly what they were designed to do, removing makeup on a smaller and more precise scale than a makeup remover pad or makeup remover on a cotton swab. However, you can get the same effect as with them by simply dipping a dry cotton swab into the remover. I use wipes so I don't have liquid removers on hand, and I use them so infrequently that I shouldn't buy a bottle just to remove with a cotton swab. If you already use a liquid remover, you can probably skip these and just dip a cotton swab into it. However, they are travel friendly. The price isn't that bad, and in terms of convenience, I think they're worth it. It just depends on your preferences!
