Fixed my locked Netgear Nighthawk R7000 after a failed DD-WRT firmware update
Bad DD-WRT flash. Everything is done as expected. The USB device was automatically recognized in Windows 10 and I successfully connected to the router via serial using Putty. I was then able to use TFTP to download the firmware to the router and it's like new now. The attached photo shows how I connected the TX/RX/GND cables to the R7000 router.
