Not so much boots as slippers. They appear to be thin plastic nylon and didn't stay put while my dog was out walking so they wore out fairly quickly; especially outside. Even the ones that even fit as intended eventually came loose at the stitching around the rubber pad. I ended up wrapping them in duct tape to fix them and it seemed to work fine until I was able to buy new ones that are stronger and fit better. Just be a little gentle on your dog's paw to keep the padding where it should be. If you need strength and still want to get them, I highly recommend strengthening them inside and out after delivery (there is a smaller pocket in the larger outer part) if your dog runs a lot or you intend to use them for a long time/frequently.
