Review on 🎨 Redodeco Reflective Chrome Silver Vinyl Wrap: Self-Adhesive Sticker Decal Film with 12" x 60" Sheet Size by Alan Singh

I used this to restore some taillights that used OEM style chrome finish paint. It's not exactly the same, but for the money you can't beat the results. Returns shine due to the fact that it's vinyl, so it wears out better than the factory stuff. The protective clear plastic is very difficult to cut unless you have a very sharp blade. I was using a worn out blade so I ended up pulling it out. The back is also a little tricky to cut, but the vinyl itself is pretty easy, but still, a new blade is best for precise cuts. This stuff is very sticky, which is great, but it sticks to anything it touches. Use some heat to shrink/shape the vinyl and help stick the adhesive to whatever you want to stick it to. Stretching greatly improves the reflectivity of the mirror, but my application wasn't suitable for it. at least at my "never used vinyl" skill level. I am very satisfied with the result. It really helps turn an old car from "junk" to "maintenance". I ended up cutting too much for the first taillight so it wasn't enough for the second, but I was so pleased with the results of the first that I bought a second roll without a second thought. He was in a car. It's been raining for about a week and it's still looking good. Time will tell if it can withstand the Texas summer heat and direct sunlight. I'm thinking of using this material to restore an anodized aluminum finish that has faded. Will definitely consider this brand for this application if the taillights hold up. If they fail I will update the review; otherwise they are great!
