Bought this jacket to take my husband on a trip to Florida. Considering Florida is known for regular rainfall, I wanted something light and comfortable to take with me in case we get caught in the rain on our daily travels. All requirements were thus fully met. It was light, easily folded into my day pack and perfectly protected from rain and wind. I "broke in" it in a heavy downpour at home before we left and wore it a few times on our rainy and foggy trip. It kept me dry every time and blocked the wind perfectly. It's not particularly warm (which is what I wanted), but I could comfortably wear a light sweatshirt underneath if it gets a bit chilly. This jacket is longer than most, which is perfect because it hits the hips and doesn't ride up.
