Review on GOOCHAN 2-Pin LED Connector: Efficient Waterproof Single Color Strip Light to Wire Quick Connection for 10MM Wide LED Strips by Mark Vazquez

Works perfectly on ceiling lights

I have installed LED strips under cupboards, in cupboards, in safes, under railings and elsewhere a few times. I used to solder all the connections which can be time consuming and tedious. I always use waterproof light strips, but the silicone coating makes it difficult to get a good solder joint and everything is so small that it's difficult to work with. Plugs cost about a dollar each. Not sure why so many reviewers seem to have trouble with this, for this particular setup I've used 4 wire connectors with 100% success and saved a lot of time and didn't burn my fingers on the soldering iron. I used 22ga wire (ASIN: B07DHQK4JY) and waterproof SMD2835 tape (ASIN: B0132NM6T4). Cut the light strip at the markings, open the connector, insert it so that the terminals are pierced in the right place, press - disconnect about an inch of the wire, open the terminal, route the wires with the right one in the splice clamps + / - Nevertheless, shut up. The clip is transparent so you can see your wire going straight through the connector and there is no need to strip the wire first, it is pushed into the blade connector for easy use. You need to squeeze it firmly to make the connection and make sure the plastic clips snap into place. If you must, you can reopen the connector and move the wires around if you miss the first time so your connector won't go to waste. For those having trouble with this, I think it's user error. As for me, I'll be ordering more to have extra tools in my toolbox for my next install. If you're new to this, take the time to line up the wires properly, clip until you see the clips on either side of the connector snap into place, and enjoy the simplicity and convenience of not having to need to fiddle around soldering.
