My last toaster lasted over 10 years. It was a combination toaster and toaster but I think we rarely used the toaster function. Well, in the end it broke and then the search for a new toaster began. I looked at so many different ones but settled on this one based on reviews and style. 4 discs and good reviews. here is another good review. After plugging it in, I initially ran it without bread to do 2 things: 1st to heat it up, burning anything that might be on it, and 2nd to check that all elements are properly lit. Everything looked great so it's time to check it out. it roasts very well, quickly and does its job perfectly. Like his looks. and the little top clips that could be glued on worked great for lightly toasting the hamburger buns. Fantastic.
