I make beautiful furniture (bedside tables, chests of drawers, wardrobes) in my local wood workshop. These little strap guides hold more than just gussets. I also use them when the shelf is in the closet. I put the corner panel outside along with the shelf. This will lift the tape off the surface and put pressure on the joint. Excellent little tool I have about 40 of these manuals.
