Initial Rating - Full Disclosure, I am recovering from a medical procedure so have not taken it on a real bike ride yet but have taken it on mine Driving with dogs - I too used to buy, use and test a combination of rear light and camera. It helped that I had experience with a rear light camera as the settings and controls are nearly identical. Video and photo outputs are very good, almost as good as a GoPro, but the price is much lower and the value is much higher. The battery also lasts (so far) longer than the GoPro, although the GP has a removable battery. I would mainly use the camera during the day so the light doesn't drain the battery. Two suggestions for improvement: 1) Adding positive clicks or feedback when pressing the control buttons would help count the number of button presses for different modes. 2). The front bar mounting system is a bit clunky - it's actually the same mounting system as the rear camera, meant to be seatpost mounted, but with an extra bracket so you can mount it on a horizontal front bar (compared to yours) head pipe); So you use 4 different thumbscrews to hold everything in place. It is best to contact the seller via Facebook messenger, he is interested in your feedback and usually responds within 24 hours.
