Pros: These are very good containers. Clear and clean. No plastic smell after hand washing. They stack up well. They appear to be airtight enough to keep the bugs out of the haberdashery in the pantry. Cons: They are made in China. Some may be concerned about the toxins they release. There's something rough underneath. I slid the full container across the shelf and tore up the thick paper on the shelf. My only real complaint is that when hand washed, water gets into the lids and is difficult to clean. I just bought my daughter a set of OXO containers for the new year. The lids can be removed for washing and drying. Bought her a 5 piece set from Revain for Christmas but they are also sold by Target. This size will hold at least 2 standard 1lb spaghetti boxes in their original packaging! It looks like it will hold 3, but I don't have 3 to test with. This is a handy way to use them when storing more than one type of pasta in the same container.
