Review on EcoFLEX Jumbo Litter Cover Table by Cara Ruiz

Good but needs some modifications

UPDATE for JUMBO BOX: After my 2nd box I figured out the materials and dimensions to prepare the box so that there is no urine leakage. You will need a large roll of plastic drape (clear preferably), a wide treadmill (clear if possible), and Amazon Basics XL.1 urine pads. Piece #1 of the plastic drape is a rectangular strip 45 inches long and 27 inches wide that starts at the interior windows on one side, runs down and through the floor, and then up to the other interior window. I made sure that he hides in the corners as much as possible. I also made sure to leave a small lip on the front to glue to the door. I use 4 strips of tape on each side for a total of 8 strips. I glue it on the front, one on each window and on the back. As a result, the sides and bottom should be covered seamlessly.2. Item #2 measures 23" W x 21" H and is trimmed to the back. It's slightly larger on the side and bottom edges so it overlaps the bottom and sides of larger piece #1. I then glued the overhang to part #1. Ribbon helps with seamlessness. The more tape the better.3. Then I placed the urine pad upside down to level the floor. This way, if they miss and water drips onto the plastic, the seal catches it upside down, preventing splashes or puddles. I also chose this because my cat knows what a pee pad is and will just go for the pad if it's facing up. I don't want to enable this behavior. My cat has missed once so far. Before. The urine dripped down the plastic under the urine pad and the urine pad absorbed most of it. All I had to do was wipe down the plastic with some enzymatic cleaner and replace the gasket. ---------- ------------------------------------------------------ ---------- ----- This giant toilet is spacious enough for large drawers and well made. Nonetheless, here are a few notes: 1. The sides, with the exception of the door, are prefabricated wood. It is a little thin and will not resist liquid.2. The parts fit together. If you plan on putting this on a surface that can't be cleaned, I highly recommend lining the inside (see below) with a plastic paint cloth and pee practice blocks.3. There is no back door. So if you have multiple cats that are fighting, one may be pinching the other internally. Do the unpacking in a place you can sweep up quickly. My box was full of black fluffy stuff flying all over the place. I lined the inside with my large plastic painter's cloth, shaped, cut out and taped it in place to keep the liquid from seeping out. Then I placed the XL Revain Basics puppy washcloth face down to collect the urine from the puddle. All cats will miss at some point so this will help prevent leakage and/or destruction of the array. Warning. Whoever said anything. No matter what reviews you read. CAT URINE WILL NOT COME OUT OF THE CARPET OR CARPETS. You can use any enzyme you want. You may not feel it afterwards, but you will. Especially in summer. They are creatures of habit, so they return to their place. Therefore, no one should allow even a drop of urine to escape. I have a feeling this box should come pre-assembled with a removable top and sealed bottom. Urine on carpet = tear up, treat and replace floor. With the current build and my mods I think the 127 is very cool.
