This flashlight is powerful in low-intensity mode and blinding in high-intensity mode - don't look into the lens when you turn it on. It comes with 12 AA batteries (DURACELL, of course), but battery life is only about 2.5 hours in high-intensity mode and over 30 hours in low-intensity mode. You can adjust the beam from spot to wide angle just by moving your head back and forth, which is very convenient. Overall, we are very satisfied with the flashlight, but limit ourselves to the high-intensity mode. He does what we wanted.
