I am happy with this soap cutter, it easily cuts a two pound bar of soap. From time to time the wire will need to be re-tightened, although this is no big deal. The only downside is that the wire doesn't seem set up to be cleanly cut all the way to the bottom with a bar of soap. sits flat so sometimes you have to lift it up a bit to ensure a clean cut. It's a minor annoyance for what is otherwise very comfortable. Overall I'm still happy with this cutter and it does what I need it to do. I'd still recommend this, it's much faster and more accurate than slicing by hand and allows you to get a few extra strips out of your loaf.
