I bought them to put up Christmas trees in our office. We're tired of changing AA batteries once a week! They would work great as fluorescent lights charge them very well. However, the solar panel on them doesn't have a light sensor that I could just peel off or remove tape. The logic is that when the solar panel receives light, the light stays off. I am so disappointed that they only work in the dark and I have to keep changing AA batteries. I also don't have any money because I threw away the plastic pegs and I can't get them back. Aside from being completely useless except in total darkness, they work great. Please update them so we can disable the AUTO-OFF feature. My ceiling lights will provide enough power to these bulbs to keep them on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I just need to turn off the auto shutoff, please.
