Almost perfect for keyboards, mice and accessories

I didn't know what to expect from a $20 keyboard, but this thing is worth every penny or more. I wanted a low-profile keyboard for work and wasn't looking for something with dedicated number keys on the side. This keyboard fits perfectly. To be honest, it looks solid and is about the size of an average laptop keyboard, making it easy and natural to just jump in and use. Don't get me wrong, if you're used to using a full-sized keyboard, you'll notice the size difference, but it's barely noticeable. I also like the fact that it has an internal battery that is easily charged with the included charging cable. (same charging cable for most Android smartphones). Some reviewers said the keyboard comes fully charged. I didn't find this to be the case, although it fully charged in about an hour. In my experience, the battery life itself exceeded all my expectations. I've been using it for about 2.5 weeks on a single charge and it's still working. It stays on almost all the time because I almost always forget to turn it off when I leave work. The tiny rubber pads on the underside are extremely grippy. So if you're worried about the keyboard moving around you as you type, trust me I won't. The keys also have a nice, responsive, springy feel, and I haven't had a typo yet. I haven't tested the functionality of each button, but I've used almost every one of them so far and they work great. I also like the fact that it uses a USB dongle and not Bluetooth. I've used Bluetooth keyboards in the past which have been fine but always seemed finicky or just took too long to connect after turning the keyboard off and on. This keyboard connects instantly and stays connected. Now I'm going to be a little picky and mention a few things I'd like to change. First, the location of the power button. It's on the bottom of the keyboard. This doesn't have a huge impact on keyboard usage as it's a low profile click slider. It feels solid and doesn't touch the surface of my desk when using the keyboard, but since it's on the underside, you have to grab the keyboard and flip it over every time you want to turn the keyboard on or off. It's not a big deal, and I know it, but I think it would be much better if the power button was either on the side of the keyboard or on the front edge. Picky again, but still. Another thing I can't figure out is the orientation of the volume buttons. The volume down button is on the right and the volume up button is on the left. It's backwards from any keyboard I've ever used. There seems to be a slight discrepancy (and yes it is), but every time I adjust the volume, I turn it up when I wanted to turn it down, or turn it down when I wanted to turn it up. Please note the orientation in the attached image. I feel like I had the opportunity to really experience this keyboard. I just don't know how long the battery will last. Honestly if he died while I was writing this review I would have no complaints. The charge has already held up for some time of use (much longer than my previous wireless keyboard). The picky things I mentioned are exactly what doesn't make me think twice about buying this keyboard again. It looks great and works great and I'm a lot more impressed with it than I expected.
