worth every penny, especially if I save something, great for cheap field tripods at the moment. They are NOT SUPER HEAVY but suitable for a starter or field kit. Don't spend hundreds if they can do it until you're a little more established or just need something to help out in the field and they're easy. I use mine for lightweight 24" and 30" reflex umbrellas, LED lights and as a batten support for my backdrop. I wish they were smaller but I knew what I was buying. They're not the strongest, but definitely enough for what I use them for. When sandbagging the base, use 5 to 10 pound sandbags. If you're worried about wind, move indoors or buy professional C-stands.
