Dexter K7129100 Bronze Bushing Kit Review

I installed a Dexter kit a while back but the bolt came loose and ruined the bushing. I ordered these and spare screws just in case. You may not find this stuff on the street when you need it.

I've been using these in our camper trailer for probably 25 years. I recently replaced the springs in our trailer and use these bushings with lubricated clevis bolts. I have never had any problems with the suspension on the road.

The plastic bushings that come standard with springs are short lived, especially when exposed to salt water. See attached photo; I installed these springs 2 months ago and the cheap plastic bushings are already worn out. Combined with B-201-10 Zerk shoulder bolts, my jet ski trailer's springs are now bulletproof.

sleeves were as described in terms of length, outside diameter, inside diameter and material. They slid into my leaf springs with little effort and bolted wet to my semi-trailer's hangers and smeared with just enough grease to leave the ends sticking out a little. They replaced the nylon bushings which were almost useless as their carrying capacity was much higher.
