I bought two of these to put in front of our two litter boxes. We have an enclosed litter box so cats can go out onto the porch through the cat door at any time. We have toilets, scratching posts, a small pond and scratching posts. I've tried several rugs to keep dirt out, but these are big enough to get the job done. I liked that they can be vacuumed. They are shipped folded and it is cold now so it will take some time for the mats to be fully straight. They're not as thick as I expected, but it will be a plus if I ever want to carry them around the garden to hose down (they're not heavy). Update: After using them all year I have ordered two more rugs. We vacuum up all visible debris, but occasionally bring it into the yard to dispose of any debris that is deep below the surface. The last carpets were rolled up and there were no problems with straightening. We love these rugs and can't imagine using anything smaller.
