This is my first iPad and therefore a case for it. I wanted something durable, easy to use and manoeuvrable as I will be using it specifically for my studies. I also wanted something good for travel and not too bulky. The size of this case is perfect and looks great. It fits very well and is fairly secure. I use a pencil a lot, so I wanted to make sure it held securely. After reading other reviews, I chose this case partly for this reason. It does a great job of keeping the IPencil safe and easy to access when needed. For the most part I'm very happy with the case, just a few things I'm not happy with. Dislikes: The case's visuals are much smoother than I expected, so I'm a little nervous about it slipping out of my fingers. It's a plastic look that has a bit of texture but still doesn't hold up very well. I need to get a carry case to add it for safe transport. It's a very minor annoyance - it's so snug against the face that it presses against the screen protector, but only in one corner. It doesn't damage the screen or anything, it's just a bit annoying as it looks like a big bubble in the corner, but I'm glad it fits snugly and doesn't fall out. I wanted a case that has a nice design but doesn't draw too much unwanted attention, I find it very attractive. I didn't think I needed a large case with a built in triangular stand to support my iPad, but this case has very elastic hinges and I only partially fold one of the lid's hinges and it lifts up a bit when flat or is on his knees. I would appreciate a stand that can be added and removed as needed. I am satisfied with this purchase, it serves the purpose of protection that I wanted.
