Floor mats fit my 2015 Ford Explorer perfectly. They were stiff enough to fit but flexible enough to snap easily. The mounting pins fit perfectly. The grooves are deep enough to keep sand off your shoes, but shallow enough that you won't notice it while lounging. 1 week after I installed them my son forgot to close the lid of his water bottle and everything was on the mat even when I had to turn around to get a towel. If I could make a suggestion it would be to add a system where you can put a cloth mat on it when you are not going to be in the mud/rain.
