Ok it arrived super fast and is a well built piece. Is it worth the additional price of a traditional bag? I would say definitely no if you don't get the IPHONE integrated version as otherwise it is just a double ended bag with a nice frame.The IPHONE deal works flawlessly overtime so far and even the kids love it. It makes the workout interesting which is why you are buying an expensive bag over a $50 tied to your rafters and a weight on the floor.The one problem I have as a beginner is the bag is very fast even on the least tension setting. You can't bob back and fourth with the bag it is just bouncing back way to fast for a beginner or maybe even other levels. If you jab the bag as fast as you can jab again the bag is there, it is like a speed bag. Hard to develop a routine. You and up timing the bag vs using aim and position recognition. Think of turning your head as you keep hitting a speed bag at a set pace. You can do it all day unless you change pace or switch hands.The fix? I simply went to HD and bought some links to add length to the bungy cord and it has helped take the rebound speed out of the bag. I like getting into a routine while the bag is just bobbing on barely any tension and then when i advance I pull a little more speed into it.I will update in a couple months but as of now if you have the money? it is about the same any other card machine so?*************************************************************UPDATE!************************************************************Ok almost 3 years later and this thing is great workout. My original bag gave up about a year in but they has a better replacement bag. The new bag has better air inlet and just feels betterI reread my orig comments about the bag being too fast and I will say it was because the nylon bungee reacts differently then other styles. Once you get used to it there is no issues. I do like the adjustable strap which does effect the quickness of the bag. I would still like the bag to wander a little more rather than be so predictable.The sensor is still working although i broke an iPad with a punch. the mouthing bracket should be very low so you look down or up at it vs being in punching harms way. $150 lesson now i leave on a table near the machine.For a punching bag set up to last this long is pretty impressive. I am not a boxer and 3 years ago 3 rounds was exhausting now 12-15 rounds for a fat 50 year old man trying to stay alive is a good gain in my eyes. NOTHING relieves tension like this thing!
