I used to see this overpriced unit and didn't buy it for my other two kids. Fast forward to now and I have a baby that won't let me put her to sleep. Always. She was in NICU for two months and they had a Mamaru and she loved it so I took a chance. Setup is pretty easy, but I ended up watching a YouTube video of a guy putting this together because I'm confused by the long bar. that goes in from the back and comes out from the front and I wasn't sure how far to put it in. Obviously this isn't a big deal as you can move the bar further or further to adjust the fit. The instructions are just pictures so the video helped. Just make sure you google the video for the Mamaroo 2022 as other models are slightly different. It's pretty cool. You can manage all of this from an app on your phone. I've tried every move and my little one is obsessed with riding at the highest level. It moves like a car on a highway and even has a slight vibration, just like driving a car. She won't sit in this thing for hours like some babies do but it's the only seat she'll sit in for a good 15 minutes and I can take a coffee break or play with a toddler without the hassle of a three month old in it is my arms. I highly recommend this, especially for babies with reflux colic.
