Review on Polder Style Station Styling Resistant by Tammy Pochmara

I have one of those Hollywood vanity lights on a table with a long front drawer. This styling station conveniently attached to the edge of the drawer and stores my straightener, curling iron and styling tools in one convenient and efficient solution. So while this is all great, I've read reviews that putting a hot device in the holder will melt and ruin it, so while disappointing I found the storage aspect helpful nonetheless. Well, fast forward to recently (about 7 months after purchase) when I had to vacuum under my vanity, which I do once a week. I was about to pull the styling station out of the drawer so the strings on my tools don't bother me, and part of my hand felt the sting of the hot curling iron! Turns out my 400 degree curling iron was on and on the station for a whole week! When I picked up the hot iron the only damage was to the styling station where the heated metal handle was resting on the plastic on top of the station. It now has a "small" melting point, but I found that a blessing and a miracle given the circumstances! One star for not only not making the product heat resistant for potential accidents like mine, but generally for allowing us to use our devices and use them as a dock when styling.
