Review on Super Cat Cone Adjustable Large (Neck Size: 9.0-10.6 inches) by Shannon Connolly

My cat had to be in a cone because he kept scratching a skin infection on his face that I had to treat. The cone did the job, protecting against scratches and seemed comfortable enough, but at the end of the few weeks he'd needed it, the thing was gross. I cleaned regularly, but the fabric around the edges stuck to fur, food, and anything he constantly got his face on. It got wet when he drank and it only made it worse and I couldn't figure out how to clean it properly because the same method as with the plastic didn't do the trick. The cone was also a lot less transparent than expected and he couldn't see the edges, which understandably bothered him a lot. It was big enough for his neck but not for his mustache and it was snug for her. I couldn't increase the size so it wouldn't fall off as the size was already there if I wasn't careful. So it did the job, yes, and it was good for the price, but if it needed to, if his infection was taking more than a few weeks to heal, I'd buy him a new one.
