Update: I tried to return it and the Amazon return system suggests contacting the manufacturer. The manufacturer states that they do not process returns and send them back to Amazon. I was told by customer service representatives there that this item is non-refundable. It was (and at the time of writing this update) and the product description did not state that it was non-returnable, nor did the ordering process. I don't know what's wrong with Amazon's return policy, but if this is any sign of the future, I need to reconsider my primary membership. If something is non-refundable, it must be clearly marked as such! Be careful when buying this for pellet grilling. The vacuum is not strong enough to work with pellet grills. The large nozzle doesn't fit in all the gaps, and the suction power isn't strong enough to overcome that. You must be directly above the ashes to pick them up. If the ash contains even the slightest moisture, this vacuum cleaner will not pick it up.
