Much better than the refilled version
Yes, real things are more expensive. But it's worth it. I've tried some remanufactured cartridges (the prices are very attractive), but they usually don't last as long as an original HP cartridge and sometimes even leave toner in the printer, smearing subsequent pages. Other positives - in the current packaging, the cartridge is encased in a rigid set of air-filled chambers that seem to protect it well, even if the UPS guys decide to play soccer with it. (No ordinary packaging airbags.)
