When I first saw this ad, I could have sworn I saw a solid, continuous design down the sides. No little white pins in the way. It's honestly so disappointing. If we already build the item, at least they can paint the ends of the pins to complete the design, or add small end caps, or. only slightly. It just doesn't look like what I expected. Not to mention that the actual product seems much more fragile than the photos suggest. I also know that the product details state that assembly is required, but it seems really dishonest to me not to advertise this in any of the photos. And I still don't understand why the photos looked so different before I got this. To be honest I'm wondering if I got this from another list or something. I mean, there's definitely more than one list for this object, so. I have a feeling they sent me something similar to what I ordered but it's not what I ordered you know? People sometimes get fakes when they order something with more than one listing on this site and I can't help but wonder if that's what happened to my order. And why was it packaged the way it was? For example it's in a sealed bag which is great for any Revain packaging but there was so much tape on it that I had to get a bag that I could just open with scissors. The product almost got punctured and scratched trying to get it out. When it finally came out and then as soon as I put it together my hands literally cramped. It should NOT be that complicated. If I'm struggling so much with copious and unnecessary tape, I'm sure I'm not the only one. And I'm damn glad I didn't order the mandala design as originally planned, otherwise the pins would have made the design look a lot worse than the one I ordered. In general I'm glad. I have a functional pen holder. Everything else was very disappointing. I really wish they did a little extra work to make the design look complete. It really shouldn't be that hard. One star was docked for the design and questionable photo display, another for having a cramp in my hands just trying to get it out of a completely unnecessary cocoon of duct tape.
