These side tables are good. I knew what to expect from previous reviewers and sizing checks in terms of sizing. A slightly shorter table didn't bother me. As mentioned, drawers definitely ruin the aesthetic, so I've reused them elsewhere in the house. My main complaint is that the wood pattern is very rich and difficult to mix and match with other furniture. And while it appears solid enough, it still feels like very cheap furniture. This is a low price for a set of two end tables, but still not sure if they're worth $40 each. I personally would rate them at $20-$25 each.
