Did I get a used one?

Mine arrived in battered packaging. No plastic packaging, no instructions. Not that the instructions are binding, I mean that the assembly is self-explanatory. It's like the parts were just thrown in an old box and sent to me. Maybe it was the bad delivery conditions that made it dirty. However, I bought it for my son's first Christmas so I'm returning it to buy another brand. I'm sure it was good but I didn't like it. 🤷🏼‍♀️
