Review on πŸ”¨ AmazonBasics Hickory Wood Handle Hammer: Durable and Reliable Tool for Your DIY Needs by Bill Forbis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Small, light, functional

I needed a lightweight hammer for quick repairs with small thin nails. This is fully compliant. It's not a work of art, but it's functional. The hickory handle is smooth, so I wrapped it in hockey tape for a better grip. It is advertised as an 8 ounce hammer (a standard nail puller is usually 16 ounces and a 20-22 ounce hammer). It would also do my grandson good for his first real hammer.

Pros
  • Claw hammers
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
