This tablet was supposed to be my daughter's birthday upgrade from her old Fire tablet. It's even slower than your old Fire 8 tablet. It hangs at least 4 times a day and then turns off. At least twice a week it shuts down and reboots until it comes up with a BIOS screen that says either a factory reset or an "attempt" at a normal boot, which almost never works. After 3 factory resets it didn't get better and it still freezes all the time. Yesterday the tablet was lying on the counter and I heard a strange cracking noise. I got up and looked at the tablet and it's hot and now the screen has cracked even though no one was 50 feet away from it. Of course, it's been a week since the return deadline, so now I've got just over $100 and my daughter doesn't have a tablet. It seems they designed it to fail right after closing the return window. I don't recommend at all.
