I have never written reviews, but I think that this time it is necessary. In Virginia, it has been raining endlessly for the past few months, and the city's sewage system has been overloaded. Our sump pump couldn't handle it either, and could no longer pump water down the "full" sewer lines, causing backwater in the basement, our toilets, sinks, and tubs. It was terrible - sewage poured out of the toilets. I had this pump in a water barrel to pump excess rain off the roof, put it in the basement and quickly dumped the water onto the street, bypassing the sewer. He emptied the basement and fixed the backup issues within half an hour. Saved our house and our bank account. Order another one for the rain barrel now.
