Edit 1 year later: I downgraded from 3 to 2 stars as we couldn't use the light because it's too bright even with the alternative light bar we bought for an extra $30. Between the unusable light and the incredibly annoying beeping sound every time we turned on the light or fan, we eventually got rid of the fan and replaced it with something else. ------------------------------------------ Advantages: - The Fan looks lovely, very quiet - Fan is very quiet (although we rarely run this past 2 so can't speak for higher speeds) - Customer service is fantastic - very responsive via email. Cons: - Terrible light. So bright. There are three warm/cold light options and the light didn't always keep the option it was on before so you have to quickly toggle it on and off on the remote to change it. Customer service has shown us a new light. a $30 board that only has warm settings and isn't that bright. We bought it and it was easy enough to install. It's still pretty bright, but at least it's usable now. - Sound signal! Why on earth beeps every time we turn on the light! Again, great customer service and they showed us how to cut a specific part to stop it, but we haven't done that yet as the fan needs to be removed again. But why was this even done? There is no need to talk about the general ease of installation, since it was done by electricians.
