I love everything about this light except the color temperature. lightbulb. It has high yellow tones since it is 3000k. The description vaguely says "3000k 6000k" which I now realize after looking at the product packaging that they also make other lamp color combinations but don't offer those here. I would really like to buy some of their blue and white bulbs which are listed as an option on the product packaging - there are actually many options on the packaging and I really hope they offer more of these. I love the look of the bulb and don't want to spend any more time looking for a similar replacement or sticking an ugly round bulb in it. The flat look looks sleek, minimalist and interesting when paired with a device, but the bright yellow hue feels so harsh and off-putting. Reminiscent of fluorescent lighting, but still creates a pleasant aura in the room when all other lights are off. As a final note, I think it would be really nice if they put a dimmer and timer in the power switch. It's only every now and then.
