My daughter loves the top but not the bottoms. She's a 38DD bra size, she bought an XL, and the top is slightly too small. She said the cups don't quite cover all but with the flap, no one can tell and she isn't uncomfortable. If she sized up, it'd be too big. You can tighten or loosen the middle strings anyway which helps with your desired look. She did cut the strings as she didn't like the wrap around her waist look. The bottoms are a V cut and showed too much of her lower abdomen area. Fortunately, bottoms are easy to match with this top. She also looks great when she wears the top with a skirt or jeans. Well worth the price.
