Cutlery drawer broke recently. I bought this as a solution to house all my cutlery until I can replace the cabinets. That's great. I bought this one because it had a flip top. This is exactly what I needed. A lid ensures they stay clean. I have pets and although we keep the house clean, as a pet owner you know that pet hair flies easily. I didn't want to fight for the cleanliness of cutlery. No dust, no dirt, no hair get into the housing.
