This lemon juicer has some significant drawbacks. First, it's too small. The lower container is often filled with less than half a lemon with juice, so it needs to be emptied 2-4 times for each lemon. The round bowl under the expander is also too small to contain all the juice from a medium-sized lemon. As a result, some of the juice inevitably ends up on the counter and not in the juicer. Finally the base of the expander is cut just above the drain holes in the drip tray area. This area quickly becomes clogged with seeds and pulp, causing the juice to stagnate or stop draining completely. Cleaning this narrow area is quite difficult and requires using a small tool (toothpick or dish handles, etc.) to remove the pulp and clean the drip tray. Avoid this and try a bigger and simpler design.
