I purchased this lemon juicer reamer hoping to make my life easier in the kitchen. However, the design is misleading and not as effective as advertised. Very imperfect design. The top sits on the bottom with little friction, but gently pressing down to squeeze out the lemon juice really clamps the top in place. Therefore, when you're done juicing, you can't just remove the lid to pour out the juice and the contents will end up spilling everywhere. This lemon juicer has some significant drawbacks. First, it's too small. The lower container is often filled with less than half a lemon with juice, so it needs to be emptied 2-4 times for each lemon. The round bowl under the expander is also too small to contain all the juice from a medium-sized lemon. As a result, some of the juice inevitably ends up on the counter and not in the juicer.
