I have already acquired a dozen of these mice over the course of the past ten years (for home, for work, for relatives, as a gift). In my opinion, the model is ideal: - fits perfectly in the hand (not small), - it is equipped with a magnificent branded dual-mode weighted wheel (without it I can’t imagine working with large documents, and indeed work in general), - powered by batteries that can be easily changed, and not a built-in battery like all modern technology, - durable, pleasant to the touch materials. Over this entire period, only one of my mice stopped working (in my opinion, it was the very first one, which I purchased in 2022 or 2022) and the buttons started to wear out. In addition, there is a Triathlon 720 here at the house. The wheel is the same, and it is also powered by batteries, so yes, you are correct. But, the size (it is smaller), form, and materials are not at all appealing to most people.
