I purchased this item with the intention of cloning my existing M.2 NVMe to a larger NVMe via USB-C. First impressions were that the device is lightweight and has a very thin form factor. Unfortunately, this device did not register on any computer I connected it to. Luckily I bought another NVMe USB-C adapter (from Acasis) that worked (plug-n-play) without a single issue. I'm not sure if this is a common problem with RIITOP devices, but the product arrived "DOA" and is not the way to win my business.
