Service, you get what you pay for.

Bought these brackets with my new Onkyo HT-SR800 home cinema system 7 speaker home cinema system with active subwoofer Black. This system only has a keyhole slot on the back of the speakers and these universal brackets are the cheapest solution I've seen that allows you to mount the keyhole brackets at an angle. Pros: 1. Brackets are cheap, and when you need to install 6 different speakers, this is important.2. For speakers weighing about 5 pounds or less they will do the job just fine, staying on top of the satellite speakers with no problem.3. Pretty easy to assemble, stick one piece on the back of the speakers, another on the wall, stick two and tighten the screw, done. Cons: 1. Really crappy design, all parts connect together by tightening the pan head screw and pressure. The plastic used is very fragile, so the screw leaves marks on the plastic even when tightened by hand. In fact, on one occasion, by trying to tighten the screw enough, I managed to spin the bracket and destroy that part. 2. Not strong enough to hold heavier front speakers: The front speakers in my system are significantly larger than the rear speakers and heavier, around 10 pounds I think. The mounts looked like they wouldn't hold the weight despite the claims. They looked like they were going to snap off at the hinges, I took them off before I knew it and bought B-tech brackets, B-TECH BT1 universal speaker brackets for small speakers (pair in box) for front speakers.

Pros
