good speaker mount in brackets

The brackets are very good and fairly easy to install but the instructions are pretty useless. The first speaker took an hour to figure out how to install, but the rest were installed in a total of 45 minutes.

Pros
  • Several competitors
Cons
  • Updates available

BUDGET SPEAKER MOUNTS

SUFFICIENTLY STRONG CONSTRUCTION. THE MATERIAL IS TOO FLEXIBLE AND THE MOUNTING SCREWS CAN BE PASSED THROUGH THE HOLES. NO PROBLEM IF YOU ARE CAREFUL. OVERALL PRETTY GOOD, GREAT VALUE FOR THE PRICE. THIS IS MY SECOND PURCHASE OF THESE MOUNTS AND I WOULD NOT ORDER THEM AGAIN IF I AM NOT SATISFIED WITH THE FIRST ORDER.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • No mold required

Maybe good? on accessories and consumables

I bought these mounts for my Onkyo home theater system but they didn't work. Despite saying they work with speakers up to 10 pounds and my speakers only weighed about 8 pounds, the brackets didn't stay on. In their defence, I installed them on the corner trim, but no matter how I tightened the bracket, the speakers sagged. I ended up making my mounts.

Pros
  • expensive but decent
Cons
  • too stupid

Good but problems.: Brackets

They are all plastic. Even if they're rated at Β£10, good luck. I have a set of Aperion Audio 422 speakers and the center channel (the largest speaker) weighs 7 pounds. Even with one of the mounting screws going straight into the wall stud, the bracket barely holds the speaker and the top of the bracket separates from the wall. I can't believe anyone would pay more than $20 for this let alone >$50.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Long wait

Great value for money surround speaker wall mounts

I couldn't find a better combination of adjustable and affordable speaker mounts for my Onkyo surround sound system. The four rear speakers mount on the wall behind me and weigh no more than 5 or 6 pounds. These mounts are not suitable for significantly heavier mounts. I screwed the brackets directly onto the speakers and then secured them with the included wall plate anchors. The speakers can easily be pointed in any desired direction. Captain Tom

Good for the Money: Speaker Brackets

These brackets work great. My only criticism of them is that since they are plastic they will ruin the mount if you overtighten any of the screws. Depending on the speakers you install, they come with a variety of mounting options. I bought these brackets for an Onkyo system, the speaker is about 6" x 10" and the brackets work great. They include all the necessary hardware to attach them to the speaker and the wall itself. These mounts helped give my new home theater room the look of a…

Good product, terrible instructions

It took a bit of confusion to figure out how this all worked. After I threw away the instructions, everything went smoothly. They do what they say and look pretty powerful. If, as one reviewer noted, they "detach from the wall," that's not a problem with the mounts. You either missed a bolt or used the wrong type of drywall fastener. I would recommend her to a friend. Edit: They've been installed for a few weeks now and I'm very happy with the results. I use them with Polk RM6600 satellites and

Not very versatile Fits mounts

If you're thinking of getting them with the Onkyo System Pack, don't worry. Onkyo speakers have a small threaded brass hole on the back, just like every other satellite speaker I've seen. it is a threaded hole. I had no intention of drilling a perfect speaker box to attach a mounting plate if the speaker already has a mounting method (it just wasn't included). Also, the Onkyo speakers I was trying to mount are plastic, and in my experience trying to attach anything to that plastic will only get

Service, you get what you pay for.

Bought these brackets with my new Onkyo HT-SR800 home cinema system 7 speaker home cinema system with active subwoofer Black. This system only has a keyhole slot on the back of the speakers and these universal brackets are the cheapest solution I've seen that allows you to mount the keyhole brackets at an angle. Pros: 1. Brackets are cheap, and when you need to install 6 different speakers, this is important.2. For speakers weighing about 5 pounds or less they will do the job just fine, staying
