If you're thinking of getting them with the Onkyo System Pack, don't worry. Onkyo speakers have a small threaded brass hole on the back, just like every other satellite speaker I've seen. it is a threaded hole. I had no intention of drilling a perfect speaker box to attach a mounting plate if the speaker already has a mounting method (it just wasn't included). Also, the Onkyo speakers I was trying to mount are plastic, and in my experience trying to attach anything to that plastic will only get you into trouble. The plastic is too thin and will eventually come loose due to sound waves and vibration. It will likely work well for speakers with a wood backing or no other mounting method.
