Not stable on casters

I had high hopes that this would help me get my old lathe to South Bend (small shop). Unfortunately at the moment I don't know if I can find a way to change them or just return them. My lathe weighs about 1200 pounds with everything in and on it. It stands on the floor, no casters when I look closely. Squeezing it can slip out of the hair. But with these rolls, the top wobbles a few inches. And that can only end in disaster for a lathe. The problem stems from the rubber foot fitting too loosely in the metal case, it has almost 1/8 inch clearance all the way around. They're priced at Β£550, most I'm not sure about, but a 2200lb car (4 wheels) tipping someone over is a surefire way to get to the ER, if not worse. I might not rate this too badly if I was using the wheel in an unusual way, but at 2200 pounds there are so many things that weigh enough to be wheeled and most of them are some sort of car . Notes: First, once the whole lathe was on the rubber foot, I could barely turn the knob by hand to level it. Second, they come with a threaded shank and nut for attachment, but it's only about 1" long and goes almost halfway into the roller, so they barely stick out on my lathe that has 1/2" thick steel legs. put on the nut. Also, since they don't mention it, the shaft has a standard 12mm thread if you need to find a longer thread for your gear. Not that I'd recommend anyone using this for anything over 100lbs, especially anything with moving parts.
