This product has two weaknesses in terms of water resistance. 1) There is no seal between the cover and the bushing itself. This allows water splashes to easily enter the openings of the torch when the cover is closed. 2) The flare assembly is secured with a single Phillips head screw on the back of the assembly and there is no spacer between the two supported sections. along with that single Phillips head screw. If water enters the outlet at the front, it will flow out at the back as there is no seal to prevent water from escaping between the two sections. I would not recommend this product for waterproof or IPxx applications.
