The rubber was not of the same quality as the bicycle inner tube. Seems thick doesn't mean strong. As if they weren't properly vulcanized, a small crack easily turned into a crack after I tried to patch it. I ended up reinstalling the tubeless stem, finding the hole and lubricating the tire beads. Then I foamed the tire and found no stains. If that doesn't work, I'll find a tube at a local outlet.
