We have an Odyssey minivan so the space for the rear seat passengers is not compromised at all, but I've seen some people say they're having issues, so I'm guessing that they have a small car . We had no problems with it at all. We love consistency. We've only had him for about a week, but he really did what we wanted. We have grandchildren with us all the time and want our van to stay clean. Now they have a place to dump their trash. I put it in a grocery bag and it works really well. When it's full, I can just pull out the grocery bag, throw it away and put a new one in. No trouble. I like the spring clasps so they are very easy to close with one hand. I've been looking for something like this for a very long time. EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED!
